My wife and I are based in the Big Apple at present, which will no doubt allow me to capture an image or two over the coming months. We have arrived in New York in winter which is perhaps not the best time, but it has turned out to be very mild so far (or so the New Yorkers tell us, but pretty damn cold for Aussies!). We have just had the first snow here, and only for a day, but it has allowed for a few cool images to start off a new gallery.

France

I had the opportunity to return to France with Claymore last month as the band photographer. As always it was a great trip with the guys, and they had some fantastic gigs. I usually shoot with my Canon 5D Mark II, but tried a few images with my new Fujifilm X100 and that has turned out to be a great little camera.
After our gigs I spent a few days in the walled city of Carcassonne. This was fantastic, apart from the masses of tourists, however it's not often that you get to see a jousting tournament.

Cars and Girls Model Shoot

Last weekend a mate of mine organised a photo shoot with a bunch of U.S muscle cars, 5 models with hair and makeup artists. It was a big day, and not to mention freezing cold. We were shooting in a mechanics garage in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We used three studio lights in various set ups, and the whole shoot took just over five hours. The shoot had a very relaxed and fun atmosphere which helped to make it a great day.
